Apache Trail Beautification Project

In the fall of 2019, the Arizona Sustainability Alliance partnered with the City of Apache Junction to raise funds for drought-resistant trees for the median in the downtown area. Shade improves the walkability of a city, and trees reduce carbon, heat island effect, and rainfall runoff.

We raised $4000, exceeding our goal of $3000, and had an overwhelming turnout on planting day.

Sustainability Celebration

The campaign for the very first AZSA Sustainability Celebration included a social media campaign, partner presentations, printed collateral, and the digital event presentation.
